Kelvin Fletcher and Martin Plowman Join MotorvationPR

Emmerdale actor and Strictly Come Dancing star Kelvin Fletcher and his team mate Martin Plowman who won this years British GT4 ProAm championship have appointed MotorvationPR to work with them as they plan for their 2020 British GT season.

Kelvin is well known for his part as Andy Sugden in the TV soap series Emmerdale from 1996 to 2016. Alongside his successful acting career, he has not only excelled at being a race driver and becoming a champion, is also showing off his fancy footwork on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Prior to Kelvin’s success in GT racing, he competed in the BTCC for Power Maxed Racing.

Martin Plowman is also and extremely well accomplished race driver. In 2013, he won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class and also that same year he was crowned 2013 FIA WEC World Champion in the LMP2 class for drivers and teams. Martin has also raced and excelled in IndyLights and then the Indycar Series. Alongside his racing he is also a racing driver coach.

Motorvation PR were again delighted to have been asked to provide cars for Chris Evan’s 2019 Carfest event held at Bolesworth Castle (North) and the home of F1 champion Jody Scheckter Laverstoke Park (South).

Single seaters from the world of hillclimbing were again the main source, helping to promote a disicpline that doesnt often get the promotion it deserves, so Motorvation PR were delighted to assist.

The Silverstone Classic is one of the UKs premier historic motorsport meetings and held towards the end of July each year.

This year’s event Motorvation PR was asked to assist in curating the Supercar Legend display sponsored by Yokohama. The display was to include twenty of the most exciting past and present supercars.

Each day the cars took to the famous Silverstone Circuit for a parade behind the safety car.

Some of the cars we sourced and provide included a privately owned Aston Martin One-77 which was driven by Marek Reichman the design director for Aston Martin, the Jaguar XJR-15 of which just 53 cars were produced and this one was R9R, the prototype, the Jaguar CX-75 stunt car from the James Bond film Spectre, a Mclaren Senna, Ferrari F50, Porsche Carrera GT,

Porsche 962 for Race Retro Sponsor Motor Sport Magazine

Motor Sport Magazine asked us to help them provide content for their Legacy of Le Mans display at the Race Retro International Historic Motorsport Show. Of course, we were delighted to do so.

Their request was for a Porsche to sit alongside the Audi R8C and other noteable marques. So we sourced them the Porsche 962, the last car raced by Derek Bell for the manufacturer at Le Mans.
