Ayrton Senna 30 Year Legacy

SILVERSTONE FESTIVAL

The Silverstone Festival was the most unforgettable experience. It was a huge privilege and honour to put together the largest gathering ever of Ayrton Senna’s cars from throughout his career, spending time with Bruno and Lalalli Senna sharing lots of stories, having a lot of fun and laughs and honouring Ayrton’s 30 Year Legacy. Looking after Bruno and Lalalli was an absolute pleasure and I feel very lucky to have had an insight into Ayrton’s life away from the track. The love that has been shown has been amazing.

“Ayrton lived in the UK at the beginning of his career, so there are so many memories here at Silverstone. It’s very special that so many people can see all these beautiful machines. Huge congratulations to all those who’ve made this wonderful tribute happen – I know it would have made Ayrton so proud.”

Bruno Senna

“This is one of the most special homages that we have received for Ayrton’s legacy. To have all these wonderful cars together at a place which we know had a unique place in Ayrton’s heart is just incredible. Even if it was possible to put all these cars together somewhere else it wouldn’t be as special as doing it here at Silverstone. And, for me to be here representing the family, is an unforgettable experience.”

Lalalli Senna

“What has been assembled at the Silverstone Festival is the largest gathering ever put together anywhere in the world and one that may never happen again.”

“For Formula 1 fans there was the largest ever collection of Senna cars – assembled with huge commitment by Mark Constanduros. As well as the Toleman, Lotus, McLaren and Williams, there were karts, the junior formula cars he raced and even two rally cars he drove for a magazine article. Ayrton only won one GP at the track but had many victories in the junior categories – the display far outshone the one at the Monaco Historic earlier in the year. Well done Mark.”
